Your Why in 2025

Four years ago, inspired by Simon Sinek’s groundbreaking TED Talk and his book, Start with Why, I dove deeply into defining my own “Why.” It was transformative, shaping my purpose and profoundly influencing how I interact with others professionally and personally. It became the compass guiding my life and relationships and serving clients as a coach.
However, recently, I discovered something critical: our “Why” isn’t static—it evolves alongside us. Recognizing this, I revisited my previous work, and the process brought renewed energy and deeper clarity.

Your Creativity In 2025

You Know You’re Creative When…
Somewhere along the way, you may have started believing creativity belongs only to artists, photographers, actors, musicians, or writers. But here’s the truth: You use your creativity every single day. Whether you’re at work, home, or just figuring out how to get through the day without spilling coffee on your shirt, your creative brain is hard at work.
Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look…

Start Setting Your 2025 Intentions

In 2024, these three words became more than an intention for me. They became tools—lenses through which I examined uncertainties, challenges, and opportunities.
For the first nine months of 2024, I navigated various medical issues. None of them were individually severe, but in succession, they were draining, distracting, and limited my ability to live fully. The most disruptive was a torn meniscus that required surgery—not exactly part of the plans I had envisioned when booking trips to Alaska, Santa Fe, and Ireland. Despite my injury, I resolved not to let it derail those experiences.

Take Steps Towards Your Goals

When I meet someone for the first time, and they ask me what I do, I tell them I’m a coach dedicated to helping them unlock their creativity and bring their most important dreams into focus.
Their curiosity usually leads to the next question, “How do you do that?”
Instead of giving a simple answer, I ask them a different question: What do you want to create for yourself, personally or professionally, that you don’t have yet? With an emphasis on the word “yet.”
I love watching what happens next.

Create Your Story Your Way

You’ve likely heard about the importance of storytelling in your work, but what does that really mean? And more importantly, where else is storytelling shaping your life?
The short answer is we tell stories for many reasons, including to create a vision, share information, motivate/influence ourselves and others, leave an impression, or share an experience. We create stories to deal with uncertainties and make sense of all going on around us.. Stories are used to create safety, justify why we do or do not take action, and go after what we want in life.
