As your coach, I work with you as your Thinking Partner. I am the person you can bounce ideas around with, who will push you and challenge you. Who will help you see things that you might not be able to see otherwise. Who will help you connect the dots and gain clarity. My role as your coach is to help you uncover your own answers to what is getting in your way and holding you back. Together, we will identify and break down the stories you are telling yourself that distract you from achieving the results you deserve. I will meet you where you are. I am the person who will help you come up with a game plan and hold you accountable for taking action. I will challenge you when needed, call you out, dig a bit deeper, and push you harder when you are swirling around within the decision of what to do next. Sometimes we all might want someone to give us the answers, but let's be honest. We both know you would not have gotten to where you are in your life if you just enjoyed being told what to do. Many of my clients, and members of my family, including my wife and kids, say they will go ahead and do the exact opposite when I or anyone else tell them what to do. My job as your coach is to help you find your OWN answers by asking you questions designed to look at what is in front of you through different lenses and angles. You have a lot going on with big and small decisions to make seemingly every day. But, how often have you found yourself so deep in a situation that you lose your objectivity and the ability to think clearly? You will leave our sessions with a fresh perspective, aware of the blind spots, invisible barriers, or obstacles getting in your way, prepared to execute a clear plan to do something about it. If you are ready to get clear, make better decisions and execute fiercely … you are not stuck; you are just ready for coaching.
You would not have gotten where you are without having a really good gut instinct. I believe in 20 minutes, both of us will know pretty quickly whether we are a good fit to work together. You will know if my style and approach will challenge you in the right way and whether I am the right person to help you achieve your goals. Equally important, I will know if you are the right fit to work with me. I only work with people ready to push themselves and challenge their assumptions to achieve their desired results. I do not work with people who are stuck in a victim mentality or want to blame everyone else in their organization or lives for where they are instead of taking responsibility for what they need to do differently. My clients appreciate that I meet them where they are and value that I call them out when they appear to be holding back or telling themselves what they want to hear versus what they need to hear. If you are tired of playing small and ready to play big, we are a good fit to work together.
Chances are, at some point in my career, I have found myself where you find yourself now—stuck, unclear, in the midst of beginning a transition. A bit bored, tired, burned out, or ready to explore something new. I have : • Worked in large and small organizations as ab employee or consultant • Performed in operational roles with P&L responsibilities and navigated through matrix organizations and in just about every type of business cycle • Moved from being an individual contributor to a first-time leader • Worn the badge of being a high-potential performer with pride and frustration when promotions and new opportunities seemed to take forever • Navigated both high-energy and soul-sucking cultures • Navigated and been blindsided by change • Reinvented myself to take on new challenges and opportunities • Gained experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks • Struggled with and achieved work-life balance Through it all, I have been highly motivated to learn, grow, and explore the unknown. I have an unending passion for developing and growing the people around me. Work with me, and you have access to a certified coach with a lifetime of experience. I have developed the perspective of an insider and an outsider when looking at all sides of an issue or opportunity. I know how to show up in the moment to be supportive, and I am not afraid to challenge or call you out when your words and actions indicate more to be explored. As your coach, I will never tell you what to do. That may sound disappointing, but the reality is that you are the best judge of what you need to do. My goal is to challenge your thinking through the perspective of my experience to leave you the opportunity to get Clear, Decide and Execute Fiercely.
You are hiring a coach to help you identify and achieve your most important outcomes. It is both a financial investment and an invest of time. My average client works with me for six months, with many choosing to renew and continue working together for a longer term. Some months you may have a project or challenge you are trying to navigate, and other months you may only need a check-in to help keep you on track with your goals. That is why I work on a monthly retainer basis with my clients, where you have the option to book up to four sessions a month, depending on your needs, deadlines, and priorities. I view my offer as a “Virtually Unlimited Coaching Relationship.” I charge my clients a monthly retainer to engage with me for a 3-month minimum commitment. Typically clients begin with three to four sessions in their first month. Most clients then move to a bi-weekly cadence for the remainder of their agreement, knowing that they always have a couple of extra sessions at the ready when their workload or challenges get extra hectic or they need to take a break and get clear. Think of it this way. I am a resource available to you as much as you need me during your journey. It is your call. Most of the time, this may mean scheduling a call. Other times you may want to send me a message via Slack or connect via email. I commit to you that you will hear back from me within 24 hours when you reach out to me.
